About Us

We seek to build power for historically underrepresented communities through civic engagement and citizen education campaigns. Our mission is rooted in our belief that for our government to work for all of us everyone’s voices must be heard, and this has to start with strengthening our democracy.

At a time when our democratic institutions have been chipped away at, and our nation is facing a global pandemic, it is more important than ever that we engage people in democracy-building and change-making.

Through tactics like non-partisan voter registration and research-based vote by mail education campaigns, For Our Future Education Fund will build on the success of its sister organization For Our Future Action Fund, leveraging its existing network and deep connections in communities across Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, to ensure as many citizens as possible are able to safely exercise their right to vote.

We have existing relationships and partnerships with thousands of large and small community organizations in communities throughout our states.

We also seek to invest in citizen engagement with a focus on young people from communities of color. For Our Future Education Fund is creating programs with a broad and diverse coalition of local, grassroots organizations to establish and strengthen leadership development pipelines for change-makers. Our work is particularly focused on empowering the next generation of leaders from marginalized communities that are all too often overlooked. Our theory of change is tied directly to our ability to train and develop the young leaders who are at the forefront of the social justice fights happening all across our nation.

We seek to use our experience amplifying community voices to lift up these leaders, giving them access to the tools and resources needed to take their efforts to the next level.
